NEET Counselling in Andhra Pradesh 2018 Andhra Pradesh NEET 2018 NTR University of Health Sciences, AP. As of 2018, Andhra Pradesh has joined 15% of the Indian quota program. Now it is organized for an 85% quota of government (medical) fees in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The university will submit an application form for admission to the UG medical and dental courses. The approval is based on the NEET value. Through this process, students will be admitted to the MBBS / BDS program at all medical and dental universities run by Dr. Ing. NTR UHS, Vijayawada and the MBBS course of SVIMS, Tirupati. In this article, students will receive complete information about NEET Counselling from the state of Andhra Pradesh 2018.

Dr. NTR University will be advising for a seat in state medical / dental schools, private medical and dental universities without a minority and without private assistance under dr. NTR UHS, Vijayawada (50% of positions (category-A)) and also arrange at the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), only Tirupati (85% MBBS seats).


Advising 50% of the administrative fee (Category B and Category C) of the MBBS / BDS program on private medical universities and universities as well as free NRI quotas on the SVIMS is chaired by Andhra Pradesh Private Medical & Association of Dental Schools Administration (APMEDCO ). The state earning position is prepared on the basis of the NEET-UG cut scores and other eligibility criteria.

Note: Category - A for 50% quota of government quota, category - B for management fee, category - C for management fee (NRI fee).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who meet the specified eligibility criteria can take part in the MBBS / BDS courses:
  •     Candidates must be holders of Indian national or PIO / OCI cards.
  •     Candidates must satisfy the local and non-local state in the AP state.
  •     Candidates must receive the cut points for the NEET exam required by the Authority.
  •     No request for relaxation by the age of a candidate is entertained.
  •     State quota places are awarded to applicants who have a valid AP address.
  •     Applicants from Andhra Pradesh are not entitled to 15% of the All India quota positions outside of AP allocated through NEET consultancy. You are only eligible for AFMC, Pune based on 15% of the All-India quota.
  •     Candidates who have no AP address (born in the state) but live in the state for a while can request AIQ together with the self-declaration form.
  •     These candidates are not eligible to apply at any of the Medical Universities in Andhra Pradesh.
  •     Applicants who have already applied for call-share seats (category A) are also eligible for management fees, but must re-apply.

Selection and approval procedures

Online registration:

  •     First, applicants must complete the application form provided by the MBBS / BDS Program Admissions Authority in Andhra Pradesh State.
  •     Students will receive the application form via the online mode on the website.
  •     It will be available in July 2018.
  •     The registration and verification fee is Rs. 2500 (Rs. 2000 for SC / ST categories).
  •     Candidates can send the fee in online mode (credit card, debit card and internet banking). The price is not refundable.
  •     Applicants must provide a copy of the completed application form.

Publication of the Provisional Merit List:

    After submitting the form, the university will publish the provisional earnings list on the website.
    It will be published in July 2018 in online mode.

Review of the document:

    Thereafter, the selected candidates in the counseling centers must obtain information along with the three certified copies of the required documents.
    At the time of the document review, candidates must also submit the application pressure.
    Applicants must attach a passport photograph on the printout of the application form.
    If candidates do not appear in the counseling process, they will be declared absent and the following candidates will be considered for their merits.

Final publication of the list of merits:
  •     After reviewing the document, the university will publish the final merit of eligible candidates to exercise the web options.
  •     The position of the final merit will be published only after submission of the application in response to the Notification Body and after verification of the original documents.

Web Counselling (choice of presentation):
  •     At the time of Counselling (completing options) candidates must pay the Rs counseling fee. 5000 to DD.
  •     Candidates must complete the university / course options according to their preference.
  •     The filling of the election is organized in two rounds.
  •     Candidates who want to start the first consultation and change course of study / university depending on the merit can exercise their web options in the second round.
  •     Applicants who did not participate in the initial consultation of the assigned universities can also use web options in the second consultation.
  •     The assigned seat of the candidate in the first round of consultation will be automatically canceled by being transferred to other colleges of choice.

Allotment of seats:

    After a few days of completing the options, the authority will publish the list of candidates who will be seated in the MBBS / BDS courses.
    Seat allocation is based on the All India Ranks, full options, availability of categories and seats.


    Upon completion of the Counselling  process, candidates must register with the appointed university and confirm their seat by paying the course fee and the university.

    If the candidates do not submit the tuition within a certain period, their admission will be canceled.

reservation criteria

Admission to the 85% national quota is reserved for local candidates. The details of the reservation criteria can be found here:

For planned castes (SC) and planned logs (ST):
  •     15% of the seats are reserved for SC applicants.
  •     6% of the seats are reserved for applicants from category ST.
  •     If a vacancy in category "ST" remains vacant, it will be filled by the candidate for category SC and vice versa.
  •     If the candidates of the category SC & ST are not available, the places are assigned to the candidates of the general category.
  •     Candidates in the category SC and ST should belong only to the state Andhra Pradesh, which were determined by the AP government.

For backward classes:
  •     29% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to backward classes.
  •     For BC-A: 7%, BC-B: 10%, BC-C: 1%, BC-D: 7% and BC-E: 4% of the seats are reserved.
  •     If the candidates belonging to the BC category of certain groups are not available, the remaining seats can be adapted to the next candidate of the group.
  •     In the event that qualified candidates from the BC category are not available to fill the seats, the seats will be treated as open competition seats and will be filled with merit for the candidates.

For CAP / NCC / Sports and Games / Physically Challenged (PH) and Police Martyr Kids (PMC):

The places are reserved in each course and in each category for the following candidates for the category:
